Testing the Features of Newberry’s New 3-D Archery Range

National Alliance for the Development of Archery in Newberry was hosting its first archery tournament Saturday at the site of the future archery facility and sports complex.

Located about a mile north of downtown Newberry off of U.S. 27 North, people young and old came to enjoy the event with archery courses set up on the field away from the construction of the building.

Local resident Bob Barnas, who served in the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam, leaves flowers at the High Springs Veterans Memorial on Memorial Day. Barnas also said aloud the names of those who he knew gave their lives for the country.
